Padlocks are small and portable locks that have been used for several thousand years to defend against theft, unauthorized entrance. A padlock is composed of a body, shackle, and locking mechanism. Integrated locking mechanisms directly engage the padlock's shackle with the tumblers whereas modular locking mechanisms do not directly employ the tumblers to lock the shackle. Padlocks with modular mechanisms are usually automatic, or self-locking.

The sequence may be entered using a single rotating dial which interacts with several discs or cams, by using a set of several rotating discs with inscribed symbols which directly interact with the locking mechanism.

·       Hasp and staple locks- Hasp and staple locks have integrated key locking device that are easy to install and are suitable for sheds, gates, storage boxes. This lock is constructed from steel and is designed for all weather conditions.
